Four Shells Protection Spell

♡Materials:• salt

•black pepper

•rose thorns (pins will work as well)

•sea water (you’ll need just a few drops)

•rosemary

•sage

•lavender

•seaglass

•basil

•4 candles (one for each element- I used blue for water, red for fire, black for earth and white for air.)

• marker

• 4 sea shells .

☾1☽ Draw on the inside of the shells the symbols of the elements (one on each) ☾2☽ Light the candles, then place the herbs, salt and seaglass inside of each shell (the order does not matter). Sprinkle the sea water on the shells; while you do so visualize your goal, for example protecting your house from thunderstorms, from burglars… whatever you need ☾3☽ When you’re done, pour the wax of each candle on the corresponding shell to seal it. ☾4☽ Once the wax has cooled down, place the water seashell west, the air one east, the earth one north and the fire one south. You can bury them in the garden or if you don’t have one you can bury them in small jars. You can also keep them on the floor or furniture inside your house! ♡

Small Heading
The Smoking Cauldron  Home Protection Spray

My apartment is really great, unfortunately i am unable to burn sage without my smoke alarm going off. A lot of recipes say just use sea salt water or sage infused water and after I read them, I had that witchy ache to add more. Not just to protect my home, but to protect the shit out if it. If you share my sentiment, then this is the recipe I used. All measurements are subjective so feel free to just use whatever quantities you feel is right for you. I generally don’t use exact measurements with spells.

  • Two handfuls of Sea Salt

  • Two Bay Leaves

  • One Crushed Cheyanne Pepper

  • A Dash of Black Pepper

  • A heaping spoon of Dried/Fresh Sage

  • Lots of Dried/Fresh Rosemary

  • Two Sprigs of Lavender

  • A Generous amount of Basil

  • One large spoon of Dried Orange Peel

  • A Pinch of Cinnamon

  • Moon Water

  • Boiled Water

  • Amethyst

  • Large Glass Jar with Lid

Add all ingredients to a large glass jar. Fill halfway with moon water, then slowly add the boiling water. Take care not to crack the jar.Stir the mixture clockwise, making sure to send off positive and protective vibes. Sit the jar outside to be charged by the sun. Place the lid on the jar, then place the Amethyst on top. Let sit until you feel like its ready. Strain the herbs out of the water, then place the water into a spray bottle. Spray around the area you wish to be protected and purified.

Protection and Return to Sender Jar

The use of this type of jar is to keep yourself protected from negative energy and any harmful intent sent to you (hexes, curses, manipulative spells, etc) and send it back to where it came from. Get a jar that you like, any size it could be small, medium or super big the one I have is a pretty good size, about the size of a 2 cup measuring cup.

Ingredients

Ground eggshells
Clove
Your own hair
Pepper (I used black pepper)
Garlic (powder, dried chopped garlic or fresh)
Cumin
Dill
Fennel
Ginger
Paprika
Parsley
Basil
Thyme
Peppercorn
Small mirror or mirror shards
Four pins
Vinegar
Storm water
As many black and white candles as you need to seal your jar

Draw a protection sigil on the bottom of the lid, you can also draw protection sigils, deflection sigils, evil eye protectors, etc on the outside of the jar as well.

You can add anything else you want, everything I had was stuff I had immediately around the house so this is great for beginners or in the closet witches or witches who are pretty broke like me.

Remember while you’re making your jar, grinding your ingredients and adding them all together focus on your intent and imagine sending any and all negative energy back to whoever it was sent from.

Light your candles and as they’re melting add all your ingredients into the jar, once you have everything in the jar close the lid tight. Blow out your candles and as your pour the wax onto the jar to seal it, say the following:

Negative energy and ill will,

Return to sender for more than their fill,

Bring me protection,

And send back evil through deflection,

So let me be free,

As I will it, so mote it be

After your jar is sealed you can either bury it on your property or keep it by you in your room and/or sacred space. I personally like mine in my room because I don’t know how much longer I will be living where I am and I’d rather have it near me.

(Remember the best time to do this would be during a waxing moon!)

Moon-Infused Protection Water
  • a container or bottle (I used a spray bottle)

  • teaspoon of garlic powder or a clove of raw garlic*

  • 4 dried bay leaves

  • teaspoon of salt

  • 5 - 10 small chips of obsidian**

  • water

  • a full moon

Crush up the bay leaves and put them in the container. Add in the garlic, salt, and obsidian chips. Fill with water to what ever amount you’d like. Set out in the light of the full moon. Be sure you bring it in before sunrise.

Note: You could also do this same recipe and leave it out in the sun to add the element of fire and make it a little more volatile. I was going for a peaceful vibe so I did moon light.

*Cooking habit. Eyeballed about a teaspoon. Measurements don’t matter unless you want them to.

**Obsidian is a 5-6 on the Moh’s Scale so it might be effected by the salt water but I used chips because I don’t intend to use those stones again.

Stone Wall Protection Spell

You will need:

  • 12 small stones

  • A white or black candle

  • A compass

At dawn, light the candle and place it on a flat surface, preferably a tabletop. Lay the stones on the tabletop, but not too close to the candle. Next, say the following:

Earth’s foundation, cold and strong,
In existence for so long,
Of your might I ask a deed,
For protection that I need.

Next, begin forming a circle around the candle with the stones. Keep the circle loose at first (the stones should not be touching each other), then begin moving the stones closer to the candle, forming a tighter circle around it, until at last, the stones are all touching each other and are in a tight circle around the candle.

Next, use the compass to determine the direction of North. Once you have determined North, remove the northernmost stone from the circle. Place the stone in an inconspicuous, northern spot in the room or in your home. This will begin your field of protection.

Next, going in a counter-clockwise order, take the next stone from the circle and place it in a position in your room or in your home, relative to its position in the circle. Continue doing this with the stones, using the compass to determine their relative positions, until all the stones have been distributed throughout your room/home and your field of protection has been established. If it helps, visualize a protective field around your home/room, with the stones as anchor points.

Once the stones have all been distributed and placed in inconspicuous places, extinguish the candle. Leave the stones in the positions you placed them. If you must move one, or if it accidentally gets moved after the candle was extinguished, you must then perform this spell again to reestablish the field of protection.
